Sources of Information for backward and underdeveloped Tribal

The local administration and government conducted mission mode to tackle the problems. It initiated the Malnutrition Eradication Mission, polio eradication and literacy campaigns. The forest areas are shrinking, wildlife corridors are vanishing, and species are being pushed towards extinction. Though the Government, along with various voluntary organizations and working groups are involved in the development of the Tribal region on a large scale, providing services at their levels. Still the tribal areas of the Melghat region are found in poorer conditions, undeveloped and ignored. This book, therefore, provides sources of information/information channels focusing on the existing schemes and policies for backward and underdeveloped Tribal. The analysis will help the researchers, Government and NGOs to trace the effective sources of information/media or channels to create awareness among Tribal.
